Originally South African born, Gerard made his way to the UK to become a professional cricketer for 17 years. Following his retirement from cricket he moved into the IT sector and set up multiple distribution companies that have been sold through acquisition.

Following the acquisition of his most recent company, Spinnakar (acquired by Climb Global Solutions in 2022), Gerard joined Climb as the Chief Revenue Officer with his main focus being growth, both organically and through acquisitions across the EMEA market.

With over 15 years of channel experience, Jane leads the business from the front. With responsibility for sales across EMEA, Jane looks after two offices – the UK and the Netherlands – and multiple countries. A typical week, if there is such a thing, includes strategic planning calls with vendors, overseeing major initiatives and ensuring we’re on track to deliver the plan.

As our General Manager and with over 15 years’ experience in the channel, James brings a wealth of knowledge and in-depth experience to all our vendors. Operationally, James manages our vendor relationships with a business development and alliance team of solution area experts. Working alongside the wider Climb team to ensure a joined-up approach to the sales cycle and a better experience for our up and down stream customers.

Sam’s passion and tenacity is second to none, and if there is something she doesn’t know about Climb, it wasn’t worth knowing! Using her 17 years of experience in the IT industry, Sam ensures all our systems and processes are running smoothly.

As our Compliance Officer, she also handles all our policies, ISO, SOX, Data Protection, and more. Operationally, Sam is reseller focused and oversees our New Business, Renewals and Sales Support teams. She is fundamental in enabling all our teams to deliver a first-class customer experience.

Bringing creativity to the channel, Selina leads the marketing team with motivation for new innovative approaches to demonstrate how Climb stands out from the crowd. Working her way up through the company from Marketing Assistant to Vendor Marketing Manager and now EMEA Marketing Manager, in just 6 years; she champions the team she helped build and develop with a strong sense of the Climb brand and a clear path for the future.

In her 10th year at Climb, Lucy started in the Sales Support team before moving to the BDM team as a Business Development Executive. She then became Vendor Program Manager before starting her current role as Inside Sales (New Business) Team leader, growing her team from 2 to 7. Her team handles quoting, identifying potential opportunities for our vendors and handling queries from our reseller base.  

Lucy ensures our service levels are high for both our value-add resellers and vendors, whilst assisting the team with any problems that may arise.

Martine is in her 7th year at Climb, initially working in Customer Service and Admin roles before moving into the Renewals team. Starting as a Renewals Executive in a team of 2, Martine now heads up the team of 7 as our Renewals Team Leader.

She enjoys day-to-day problem solving and building relationships with our vendors and resellers.
